Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call

Description

Oh yeah, this happened. I LOVE making art for games that barely get any.

So the official Theatrhythm 'Curtain Call' facebook page is holding a contest, unfortunately, yet obviously, it is a music contest and I am quite musically challenged. I still felt like honouring the game in my own way so there you go! Funny art!

So the characters, We have Squall Lionheart from FFVIII on the far right, requested by one of my bros. I wanted him to pick someone because I was able to get the Limited edition version of the game thanks to him notifying me about it early on. I absolutely LOVE the Theathrythm series, it's one of the rare rhythm games I'm actually good at. The chick on the far left is Faris Scherwiz from FFV requested by the beautiful ValaSedai and the one in the middle is my own homeboy Setzer Gabbiani from FFVI. I was going for his sprite version originally but then was thinking about doing the Amano version but seeing as Faris was originally planned as Setzer they would have looked close to exactly the same so I went back to my original idea. Final Fantasy VI ties with FFX as the best FF out there in my honest opinion.

I'm actually quite proud of this one, really pleased with how it turned out.

I have the first game, but I never got a chance to play Curtain Call. I've never played VI or X, but I have I, IV, Tactics, VII, VII Dirge of Cerberus, VII AC, VIII, X-2, Chocobo Dungeons, and Theatrhythm. Of all the FFs, my favorite has always been VII, and judging by all the Cloud cosplays and artwork, I know I'm not the only one who thinks so. VIII and IV come close behind on my faves.

It seems that they add a lot of new features for Curtain Call and ton or more music (the first game had 77 songs - DLC, and Curtain Call has over 200). Also, most of the first game is just I-XIII (you can get music from games like Type-0 if you have the DLC). I would have loved to have the music from FF7 AC, but that's in Curtain Call. One new feature of Curtain Call is the use of buttons, in the first game, you can only use the stylus.

My party has Cloud, Squall, Cecil, and Tidus (all are characters from FF titles I own). I can't wait to get Aerith and Sepheroth.
