Peeks of the Wild by Retro-Death Peeks of the Wild by Retro-Death
HOLY CRAP I DREW SOMETHING!!

It's most definitely not the best but at least it is something and that's quite a lot already.

The legend of Zelda 'Breath of the wild' is a pure delight, a true obsession and a product of absolute beauty for sure! Not my favourite Zelda but I think I would definitely put it in my top 3. One of the many great things the game did was bring back Koroks, which was my wet dream race whenever people asked, a race I KNEW they would never bring back, hence... wet dream. Anyway, they did bring them back! And they did not only bring them back, they actually created NEW ONES!!
So there you go, this is Peeks, I love him, and you will love him too, or he will destroy you, a Lily Pad Korok and he is AWESOME!! And you will die in front of his ultimate cuteness.

Sorry for my massive lack of activity, I'm fighting hard to try and get the art ball rolling again but it's just not easy, I'm feeling really good, that's not the problem, I just have no will to draw I guess.

Aw thx! :iconluvluvplz: I thought he WAS this fat, haha! When I double checked to do the markings I noticed he was a lot thinner than I thought, but chubby is cool, so I left it. He looked cuter this way.

After Twilight Princess, Breath of the Wild is my favorite Zelda game.  It deviates a bit from the standard "dungeon crawling, getting hearts and money from the grass, strictly linear" Zelda formula, but that's not a bad thing... not to mention it references all the Zelda games that came before it, including Twilight Princess.  And getting to see the little Koroks again was an unexpected and wonderful surprise; of course, I just wish you didn't have to find so many to complete the quest and expand your weapon/shield slots.

A friend of mine had 300 Korok seeds, I was at 200+ so I thought I was almost there! Then I learned about the actual number and I felt like crying. I mean, come on, if there are actually THAT many, Nintendo could have doubled the variety of Koroks I feel. Fortunately the 1st DLC pack will get the Korok Mask, that will be a huge help.

Yes, that Korok mask not only plays tribute to the most well known Korok (before Hetsu), Makar.  It will also come in handy for those completionists that want to finally get the Korok seed side thing out of the way.  900 Koroks scattered all over Hyrule?!  Seriously Aonuma and Miyamoto?!

My favourite always used to be Irch! They renamed him for this game though, now he's called Daz.

And yes, if it really is 900, then that's a little bit overkill, haha!

It's lovely, I can practically hear the korok saying "Yahaa haa haa"

The late evening sun passing through the trees really adds to it.

I always love their 'buh bye' sound! XD And thank you! I haven't drawn in so long, too long, I'm fighting to get back on the horse. I think you mistook the fire flies for sunlight though. ;) I like the floaty things always.
